Perfect for entertaining

I try to stay away from disposable plates but for a party they're so much easier. These plastic plates are a great compromise because you can reuse them (they must be handwashed) or you can toss them. I got them for my annual New Years Day Brunch and they were perfect. They look pretty. They're lightweight. They're better than paper plates because they're stronger and manage "wet" food better, and also they're reusable. They're better than china because they're unbreakable, they're lighter, and if someone tosses them it's no problem. So basically? They're perfect for entertaining.

Worry-free, affordable alternative to paper or china

These are a great option for everything from poolside dining, to extra place settings or child place settings at formal dinner parties. They are reasonable enough to be disposable if desired, but certainly sturdy enough to reuse and still not have to worry about china. They wash up well and store compactly. I've used them a few times now at parties and am happy to have these worry-free alternatives to paper plates.

Beautiful, strong plates. The silver detailing is gorgeous. I have really enjoyed these at the last couple gatherings at my house. Fantastic product.

    Good, sturdy plastic plates.

Very sturdy salad plate sized plastic dishes. You get 16 in a package. Because of the thickness of the plastic, they are easily reusable. I would hesitate putting them in the dishwasher or microwave, but hand washing is not a problem. These are great for side dishes, or sometimes when you are not in the mood to eat a huge meal, its nice to have a small plate with just the right amount than a huge dinner plate. Seems like more food to clean up. Either way, if you extend the life through washing and reusing the plates, the price is great. If you are using these for a party for disposable purposes, the price might be more than its worth.

    decent plastic plates

These are more expensive than paper plates, but they can be used more than once, this is a plus. They are sturdier than paper plates, which I personally like as I'm a person who doubles up my paper plates. They look great for an informal party, though I would say not for a formal one, but then I'm sure no one would make that mistake. They are also recyclable which is extremely important for me. I think they're all good, if you need a stiffer, more formal plate than paper, this is a good choice.

Fantastic for Parties, Picnics, or Snacks

Posted by Anonymous on Dec 19th 2017

These silver-banded plastic salad plates are inexpensive plastic but look like china, making them perfect for parties, wedding receptions or any function where you'd ordinarily end up with tons of dishes to wash, from formal to a picnic.

I'm not the party type and usually wash dishes by hand, so for me, these plates are excellent for sandwiches at lunch or fruit with dinner. Tonight, they'll hold wedges of cornbread to go with homemade chili.

These plates are heavy-duty and sturdy enough that I could easily set a heavy bowl of chili on one to carry. They can stand heat up to 182 degrees, so they're fine for hot food. Though BPA-free, they aren't made for the dishwasher or microwave.

I'm very pleased with the look, feel, and durability of the plates.

Thin plastic plates that can be hand washed and used again.

These are stiff thin plastic plates with a silver band around the edge. They are perfect for cake or hors d'oeuvres. You can't put them in the microwave or the dishwasher but you can certainly wash them by hand ad use them over and over again. Trashing them after a single use seems overly wasteful.

Stylish, Lower Cost Alternative To Using Expensive Dinnerware At A Buffet.

Posted by Anonymous on Dec 14th 2017

The answer to my buffet style informal dinners. I had been using chinaware in a stack by the buffet offerings. Guests make the rounds and take what they want. But, at evening's end, I have a pile of dirty dishes. I tried paper plates, but some heavy hors d'ouvres would cause them to bend or not be useful for a second pass at the food line. The Mozaik Premium Plastic Plates solved my problem. They are stylish with their silver band. They look like chinaware but will not break if dropped. They do not bend when loaded with food. They can handle hot food. Already looking forward to using them again for a festive evening buffet style meal coming up soon. At the end of the night, I just give them a quick rinse and they go into the recycle bin. You could clean them by hand if you had used them to serve cold or warm, non staining food. They cannot go in the dishwasher or microwave. That will show cut marks if used with sharp knives,

Elegant, strong plates that are very attractive

Posted by Anonymous on Dec 14th 2017

These are much more attractive than I thought they would be. They are quite elegant looking for plastic plates and seem nice enough for guests. They are not cheap, lightweight plastic plates. Being plastic, they are lighter than glass would be and probably would not break if dropped (but I didn't trying dropping one to find out). You probably will not want to throw these out after a use or two, but might want to wash them to use again. Once they start to stain or wear out you can toss them and not feel like you are out very much. The only possible minus that I can see might be the price. You can of course buy cheaper plastic plates, but then they look cheap. (You get what you pay for.) These are not cheap looking. They look nearly as nice as fine china plates. You can not use these for dinner plates as they are too small, but are ideal for desserts, salads or small snacks.
