There is more than one way to bring a Turkey to your table this Thanksgiving. This fun and tasty charcuterie and cheese appetizer is something that is sure to get “gobbled” up by your guests!
Cheddar Cheese slices
Provolone Cheese slices
Oval Shaped Crackers
•Using a flower shaped cookie cutter, cut the Cheddar and Provolone cheeses. These cheese slices will be your “feathers”.
•Starting from the end of the platter, lay down a row of cheddar cheese, followed by a row of pepperoni. Behind the pepperoni, place a row of oval crackers, followed by a row of provolone cheese, and finally a row of salami. Continue alternating meats and cheeses until the tray is full.
•To create the head, you’ll need a small circular piece of bread. Cut a piece of cheddar cheese into a small triangle to form a beak. Cut a piece of pepperoni to add to the corner of the nose to use as the wattle. Create eyes using small circles of provolone cheese and a dab of balsamic glaze!
